An tSnáthaid Mhór - weaving a new cloth of story from ancient threads of telling

No bookshelf in the world is complete without stories of great giants, legends of wild wonderful warriors, and tales of magical mystical creatures. These stories have bewitched us from generation to generation lighting our way and teaching us on our journey.

We happened upon such a treasure, a trove of tales that shone with their beautiful bright imagery and exciting poetic words that cast their spell. With their origins deep in the mystical well of Irish storytelling these stories have enchanted, entertained and educated generation after generation.

The aim of our Publishing House, An tSnáthaid Mhór, is to ensure the transmission of this rich heritage to a new generation.

An tSnáthaid Mhór believes in the power of storytelling. Storytelling has woven our world from the cradle, creating and carrying language from generation to generation.
