Bhí an-bhrón ar Nia. Bhí jab nua faighte ag Daid. Bhí an chlann ag fágáil a mbaile faoin tuath. Bhí dream amháin speisialta a raibh ar Nia slán a fhágáil acu … na préacháin a chónaigh sa chrann cnó capaill ag bun an ghairdín. “Slán agaibh, a chairde” a dúirt sí. “Ní fheicfidh mé arís sibh.” Ach … an bhfeicfidh sí go deo arís iad?

Leabhar gleoite í seo idir insint Chaitríona Hastings agus ealaín Andrew Whitson. Tá an scéal léite go galánta croíúil ag Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh (Altan) ar an DVD a théann leis an leabhar, DVD atá lán le spraoi.

Plot Summary

Nia was very sad. Dad had got a new job. The family were leaving their home in the country. Nia had one more special goodbye to say ... to the crows who lived in the chestnut tree at the bottom of the garden. “Goodbye, my friends,” she said. “ I won’t see you again.”

But... will she ever see them again?

A delightful story by Caitríona Hastings, wonderfully illustrated by Andrew Whitson. The story is beautifully narrated by Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh (Altan) on the accompanying DVD.
